Alexander Collins, Attorney: Texarkana

 

Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Alexander Collins joined Ross and Shoalmire’s Texarkana office in September of 2017. Before joining Ross and Shoalmire, he spent his law school years in Fort Worth, attending Texas A&M University School of Law. At A&M Law, Alexander served as Executive Editor of the Texas A&M Law Review, and graduated with a concentration in Estate Planning.

Also during law school, Alexander interned for the honorable Judge Steve M. King of Tarrant County Probate Court No. 1 and was the first recipient of the Dallas Bar Foundation’s Nikki DeShazo and Ed Smith Clerkship. After receiving the honor, Alexander clerked for the honorable Judge Ingrid Warren of Dallas County Probate Court No. 2 during his final semester of law school.

Before turning his focus to law, Alexander graduated with a degree in Radio/TV/Film from the University of North Texas, and worked at a popular sports radio station in Dallas for many years.

Alexander is a member of the Texarkana Young Lawyers Association; the Real Estate, Probate and Trust Law Section of the State Bar of Texas; Texas Aggie Bar Association; Tarrant County Probate Bar Association; Dallas Bar Association’s Probates, Trusts, and Estates Section; National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys; and is an accredited Veteran’s Benefits attorney.
